To get the Scholar's Remembrance in Elden Ring Nightreign, you must first recruit Scholar in Forsaken Hollows. Beat Tricephalos and follow the cutscene path that leads you to the Small Jar Merchant; interact with the door he marks and you’ll trigger a Dreglord encounter, after which a cutscene opens the main room and lets you speak to the Scholar to recruit him (Undertaker can be recruited as well). This unlocks the Scholar’s Remembrance system in the Roundtable Hold. For the actual Remembrance, open the Roundtable Hold journal and start Scholar’s Remembrance (Chapter 1 is available once Scholar is unlocked). The first Remembrance quest asks you to search the underground chamber below the marsh during a Balancers expedition, grab the Vassal’s Journal, return to the Hold, and talk to the Undertaker and Iron Menial before concluding with the Undertaker.
